It takes less bud and you are literally wasting none. a joint spends more time idling (well with my friends anyway HAHA) than it does being smoked. The vaporizer gives of a clean, pure healthy taste that cannot be gotten any other way. I always liked smoking out of a bong as well but i always found it very harsh and you are taking in so much smoke it is real hard on your lungs. I highly recommend the Volcano, and since I bought mine 4 of my closest buddies also bought one, after they laughed at me for spending a thousand dollars on a bong.
