It seems like the classic volcano vaporizer heats up faster than the digital volcano vaporizer, as you can see in this video, the difference isnt incredible but still noticable. Yes, I know what you’re thinking : But isnt the volcano vaporizer digital more expensive and newer than the “old” volcano classic ? It is but it is speculated that because of the added circuitry and electric elements to display temperature on the volcano digital, this leaves a bit less energy going towards heating up the volcano. Now the question is, Is faster better ?

The simple answer is… NO … but why ? Why should I spend more money on a vaporizer that is SLOWER you say ? Well because its better… the added benefits of having a very precise control on temperature to me is more important than the speed at which it reaches its wanted temperature, so just because it’s a bit slower to heat up doesn’t mean it’s not a better unit on the whole.

If you have the money to buy a volcano vaporizer, do yourself a favor and get the digital, you wont regret it, and if you dont have enough money then get the classic, thats how you decide on which version to buy, not with a lousy “speed test”
